Display drive train 2

Setting whether you intend to process drive train 1 only, or drive trains 1 and 2.

NOTICE! Drive train 2 is only available for single-axis modules and can be used, for example, for implementing an emergency mode without encoder feedback. The user units and the speed window for the "Setpoint/actual speed comparison active" signal must be parameterized identically to drive train 1.

Additional functions

Energy coupling

Information: Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

Activate or deactivate the function of coupling the software module with a power supply module for exchanging energy data. The actual function is implemented when activated via a software module on the power supply module.

Brake test

Activate or deactivate the function for using the FCB 21 brake test drive function.

Additional process values of the inverter

INFORMATION: See Additional process values of the inverter.

Activate or deactivate the function for configuring additional process values (PI data) of the inverter. They are then transferred via the fieldbus interface. When the function is activated, fields for specifying the number of additional process values and the process data profile are displayed.

Variable jerk time

This additional function extends the range of functions by the option of specifying the jerk time. The additional function extends the process data length by a process data word.

Variable torque limiting Q1

Information: The configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

The torque limit can be specified variably via the application. The "Torque" configuration value in the Limit values configuration menu is then only effective in the cases described in chapter Variable torque limiting Q1. In fieldbus operation, the process data length is extended by 2 process data words.

Touchprobe 1

Information: Configuration menu becomes visible when activated.

This additional function extends the range of functions by the option of reading out the detected position and the trigger counter in the event of a trigger event. In combination with the "Touchprobe positioning absolute" operating mode, you can also position in a specified position in relation to the Touchprobe position in the case of a trigger event. The additional function extends the process data length by 4 process data words. For more information, refer to chapter Touchprobe 1.
