Acknowledging a system error

If safe digital inputs with active interlocking are used for acknowledging a system error, adhere to the following sequence:

1. If possible, eliminate the cause of the error.
2. Make sure of the following:
• No person is in the hazardous area of the system.
3. Acknowledge the system fault.
