Startup of safety encoders with MOVILINK^® DDI

Select the safety encoder with MOVILINK^® DDI (EK8Z or AK8Z) in the Assist CS.. parameterization tool. After the configuration is transferred to the CS..A safety option, the encoder and the safety option automatically connect. This process is called pairing.

If the pairing process does not work, you have the option of starting the process manually via the Assist CS.. parameterization tool.

1. Select the menu item "MOVILINK^® DDI encoder".
2. Then select the menu item "Perform pairing".
