Painting the drive unit

The drive unit is delivered unpainted and does not necessarily need to be painted. However, the drive unit can be painted as needed.

Paint the drive unit as follows:

  1. Perform the steps according to chapter Installation notes.
  2. Clean the surface of the drive unit.
    • Make sure that the surface of the drive unit is free of grease.
  3. NOTICE! Plug connectors and oil seals may be damaged when painting or re-painting. Damage to property. Thoroughly cover the plug connectors and sealing lip of the oil seals as well as the nameplate with strips.
  4. Paint the drive unit.
  5. Remove the designation strips.
