Double-layer capacitors are characterized by fast charging and discharging, are resistant to extreme temperatures and offer high cycle strength for long-term use. Double-layer capacitors do not require regular maintenance and do not use chemicals in the energy storage unit, which enables particularly efficient energy recovery.
