Installation topology (PSC hybrid installation example)
In this installation topology, fieldbus connection is made via mini I/O plug connector X42 and X43 at the connection unit. Use only electronics cover with the following connection configurations:
- DFC.1.. / DSI.1.. (M12 plug connector for digital inputs/outputs)
- DFC.2.. / DSI.2.. (Without M12 plug connector)
The following figure shows the basic PSC hybrid installation typology with an SEW-EURODRIVE hybrid cable for line voltage, STO signal, and communication. An optional 24 V backup voltage is led separately to the unit.
