Climatic conditions

Extended storage (weatherproof):

EN 60721-3-2, class 1K2,
ambient temperature -30 °C to +70 °C (deviating from the standard),
non-condensing, no condensation

Transport (weatherproof):

EN 60721-3-2, class 2K3,
ambient temperature -30 °C to +70 °C (deviating from the standard),
non-condensing, no condensation

Operation (fixed installation, weatherproof):

EN 60721-3-3 class 3K3,

Ambient temperature -30 °C to +60 °C (deviating from the standard)Observe the permitted temperature range of the oil in use (see chapter "Lubricant table"). Non-condensing, no condensation

  • At ambient temperatures below -25 °C, the following designs are not permitted:
    • Designs of the communication variant DAC
    • Designs with M23 or M12 plug connectorsAt ambient temperatures below -25 °C, you must not insert or remove the M12 plug connectors on the electronics cover.
    • Designs with safety option CSB51A or CSL51A
    • Designs with pressure compensation fitting (option /PE)
    • Designs with output shafts whose diameters are specified in inches
    • Designs with double oil seals
  • At ambient temperatures above +40 °C, note the following derating: IN motor reduction: 3% IN per K at 40 °C to 60 °C.
