1. Other software modules can use the energy coupling to check whether an error is active in the PES system. (xExternalError = "TRUE")
2. Desired response of the axes: Emergency stop + output stage inhibit (but response can be application-specific)
3. Immediate disconnection of the energy storage unit
4. Delayed output stage inhibit MDP92A/MDE90A
5. The output stage of MDP92A/MDE90A is inhibited after a parameterizable time has elapsed.
