Storage diagnostic data (optional)
In normal operation, storage errors are reported via the Error Manager (ErrorManager) of the software module. If the energy storage unit consists of a storage system with several individual diagnostic interfaces, the customer does not receive any information via this error message regarding the energy storage unit that triggered the error. To improve diagnostics and to localize errors, up to 24 storage diagnostic interfaces can be added as optional process data.
The 4 most important signals (overtemperature warning, overtemperature error, overvoltage and sensor break) are coded in bit-wise manner.
If more power is required, the number can be doubled by connecting another string in parallel. Up to 3 strings can be managed via the optional process data. This results in up to 6 additional process data words.
The individual bits appear in the same order in which the storage interface were declared in StorageMonitoring. INFORMATION: Clicking a corresponding field in the MOVIKIT® fieldbus monitor monitor opens a pop-up window in which the values are displayed bit by bit.
The optional process data contains the following information:
- The first word contains storage temperature warnings and errors:
- Bit 0-7 = Overtemperature warning of storage 0-7
- Bit 8-15 = Overtemperature fault of storage 0-7
- The second word contains overvoltage and sensor break:
- Bit 0-7 contains the overvoltage error bits
- Bit 8-15 represents the sensor break information
Word | Bit | Function | |
|---|---|---|---|
PI 9 | Storage diagnostics temperature INFORMATION: If a temperature error is set, the temperature warning bit also remains set. | 0-7 | Each bit is an overtemperature warning of a storage interface |
8-15 | Each bit is an overtemperature error of a storage interface | ||
PI 10 | Storage diagnostics overvoltage and sensor break | 0-7 | Each bit is an overvoltage of a storage interface |
8-15 | Each bit is a sensor break/sensor short circuit signal of a storage interface | ||
