Automatic recuperation detection

Automatic "recuperation detection" can be activated via the configuration menu State of charge control. To calculate the total active power, all axes connected to the DC link and the MDS90A power supply units must be linked via the additional function Power monitoring (PowerMonitor).

Automatic recuperation detection then blocks feeding into the A‑side (DC link side) if the sum of the active powers of all measurable consumers falls below a certain negative value. This is to prevent the connected Power and Energy Solutions device (MDP92A, MDE90A) from feeding in additional energy when the connected axes recuperate, thereby unnecessarily increasing the DC link voltage.
