Status (OUT)

The status of the operating mode is output via the following output variables.

Variable name

Description

eControlSideActive

Data type – ENUMERATION

Active control side of the connected device

  • A_SIDE – A‑side is current control side of selected FCB
  • B_SIDE – B‑side is current control side of selected FCB
  • NONE – No side is selected as control side
  • BOTH – Both sides are selected as control side

rActualOpRangePct

Data type – REAL

Current stage of charge of the selected control side [%]

rActualVoltage

Data type – REAL

Current voltage of the DC link [V]

rActualEnergy

Data type – REAL

Current amount of energy in the DC link [Ws]

eOperatingRange

INFORMATION: Correct configuration of the voltage limits is a prerequisite for properly displaying the state of charge.

Data type – ENUMERATION

Present state of charge.

  • ABOVE
  • The actual state of charge is above the normal operating range. Risk of overload of the DC link or energy storage unit.
  • IN_RANGE
  • The actual state of charge is within the normal operating range.
  • BELOW_AXES_AVAIL
  • The actual state of charge is below the normal operating range. Connected axes can still be operated, even in reduced operation if necessary.
  • BELOW_24V_SUPPLY
  • The state of charge is too low for operating axes. However, the MDS90A power supply unit can still supply the system with power.
  • BELOW_SHUTDOWN
  • The state of charge is so low that the system switches off within a short time.

xInhibitRecuperationDetection

Data type – BOOL

  • TRUE – Automatic recuperation detection is switched on and active. It blocks the power flow into the DC link (A‑side direction) due to detected regenerative energy fed into the DC link by the axes.
  • FALSE – Automatic recuperation detection is not active
