Setting data management

During runtime, the software module sets the cycle limit using the "Number of tools" parameter. To maintain this cycle limit, the method for detecting an axis replacement must be set to the default value "Device replacement". If necessary, perform the following steps to set the default value.

  • A MOVISUITE® project has been created and is open.
  • The MOVISUITE® project includes a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
  1. In the function view of MOVISUITE®, click the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER.
    • The configuration menu of the MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER opens.
  2. In the "MOVIRUN® flexible" section, open the "Data management" configuration menu.
  3. In the "Configuration data" section, select the value "Device replacement" as the method for detecting an axis replacement.
