Type "Advanced"

The "Advanced" type extends the functionality of the "Standard" type by a function for calculating the derivatives, activating filters and consistent non-volatile storage of division remainders and of variables. Dead times caused by filtering can also be compensated by means of a corresponding function. An illustration of the filter function and dead time compensation can be found in the chapter Filtering and dead time compensation.

The type is selected and configured in the EncoderInterface configuration menu. This is where the parameters displayed as input data in the graphic outside the rectangle can be set.
