Hardware

The following hardware is required:

  • Processor: 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit processor
  • RAM: 1 GB (recommended)
  • Hard disk: 30 MB for installation of the software + storage capacity for saving the recorded data
  • Graphics card: SVGA graphics card

 

The following hardware components can be connected to the software:

  • MOVILINK®-capable SEW‑EURODRIVE devices of the generation B
  • (e.g. MOVIDRIVE®, MOVIMOT®)

  • INFORMATION

    The software uses the Ethernet-based engineering interface of the devices for recording sensor data.
    • In situations with a lot of access via the MOVILINK® parameter channel (e.g. parallel access of several communication nodes on one device) delays/bottlenecks in communication may occur with some devices. For detailed information on compatibility of the devices, refer to the respective documentation and chapter IIoT sensor technology properties (extract).
    • To allow for access via other fieldbus protocols, the respective gateway must be used. Please observe the notes and information in chapter Sample topologies when doing this.
    • Access via SEW‑EURODRIVE interface adapters (USB11A/USM21A) is not possible.
