Hardware

The following hardware is required:

 

If visualization takes place on the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER ...

  • MOVI-C® CONTROLLER UHX65A-x-04-xx
  • Variant with or without fieldbus interface and 4-core CPU
    • With OMW CFast memory card for extending the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER with a Windows operating system (the OMW CFast memory card must be inserted and engage into card slot XM2 of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER)
  • Input/output devices for installation of the Windows operating system on the OMW CFast memory card of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER (only required for initial start-up):
    • External monitor – connection to the DisplayPort (DP)
    • Display of the Windows operating system on the OMW CFast memory card
    • Keyboard and mouse – connection to the USB ports (USB1 or USB2)
    • Navigation through the Windows installation and adjusting the settings of the physical network interface X90 for Remote Desktop access
  • Network switch for parallel access to the control and Windows part of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER
    • An Ethernet connection is required between MOVI-C® CONTROLLER and the engineering PC, regardless of whether the visualization is browser-based or implemented via a connected monitor. This is required for Remote Desktop access to the Windows part of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER, data transmission of the visualization project to the Windows part of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER and data transmission between the visualization project and the controller part of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.

 

If visualization takes place on another Windows system ...

  • MOVI-C® CONTROLLER (all performance classes)
  • Windows system with the Windows 10 operating system
    • E.g. desktop PC with external monitor or mobile handheld DOP21C-T70
  • Network switch for establishing the engineering connection if there is no network connection between the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER and the Windows system.
