Creating a new IEC project or updating an existing IEC project

Do the following to create a new IEC project or to add items to an already existing IEC project:

  • You have already created a project from a network scan in MOVISUITE®. The MOVI-C® CONTROLLER was detected during a network scan and has been applied to MOVISUITE®.
  1. In MOVISUITE®, click the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
  2. From the controller menu, select [IEC software platform].
    • The window opens for creating or extending an IEC project.
  3. To create a new project, click the [Create new IEC project] button.
  4. To add items to an already existing project, click the [Update IEC project] button.
  • The IEC Editor opens automatically once the IEC project has been created and the code has been generated. The SBusPLUS string is displayed with the auxiliary axes.
