LogicalDevicePool

For each physical device inserted via EtherCAT®/SBus^PLUS, a logical device (LogicalDevice) is created matching the process data. Through the logical devices, the available functions can be opened irrespective of the system bus type. These include, for example, parameter communication, referencing the axis, and position or speed specification. LogicalDevices are also used for automatic device replacement.

The logical and physical devices are linked automatically.
