PROFIBUS communication standard
PROFIBUS (Process Field Bus) is a communication standard for the automation of PROFIBUS and PROFINET International (PI).
The modular range of functions makes PROFIBUS a flexible solution for all applications and markets. The following applications can be implemented with PROFIBUS:
- Applications for production and process automation
- Applications for the spectrum of drive technology through to isochronous motion control applications
