Operation with 2 lower-level devices is checked and approved as standard. For operation with 3 MDP92A or 3 to 4 MDE90A, contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service for a separate approval.

The following figure shows an example project in which several identical Power and Energy Solutions (PES) devices (MDP92A in this example) with the same PES software module (MOVIKIT^® PowerMode in this example) are subordinate to a software node with MOVIKIT^® ParallelMode and are therefore controlled and read together (parallel operation).

The device located on the far left of the lower-level devices has the leading role (master device). The storage controller must be configured on the master device. Storage diagnostics is routed via the master device. When configuring the project, make sure that only one device in the fieldbus is set to "Master" mode under "Device properties" > "Communication" > "Module bus".
