Required settings on the connected inverters

In the drive train under "Controller", the voltage supply must be set to "MCR91 regenerative power supply module", and the "DC link interconnection" switch must be activated. In control mode, the "Activate DC link damping" function must be selected for inverters up to and including size 6.

To protect the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply, the error message must be evaluated.

There are 3 options for evaluating the error message:

• Immediate disconnection of the regenerative power supply from the supply system
• The error message is transmitted directly to the controller. No additional settings are required on the device itself.
• Immediate switch-off of the connected inverters
• The error message is applied to a digital input of all the connected inverters. Parameterize this digital input to "External fault – active". Set the fault response to "Output stage inhibit".
• Stopping the connected inverters in a controlled manner
• The error message is applied to a digital input of all the connected inverters. Parameterize this digital input to "External fault – active". Set the error response to either "Emergency stop + output stage inhibit" or "Application stop + output stage inhibit".
