Step 4

  1. You can now open the safety guard.
  2. After the safety guard has been removed, the mechanical extension of the disconnection switch can be pulled out. This simplifies accessibility to the internal components and avoids injuries from the relatively long, pointed component. To ensure the correct installation depth when reinstalling the linkage, mark the linkage before removing it.
  3. It must be ascertained again that there is a de-energized state between the first module on the positive pole and the last module on the negative pole. No voltage greater than 0 V is permitted to be present due to the connected short circuit connector.
  4. The voltage between the last module on the negative pole and the PE must likewise be 0 V.
  5. Measure the individual module voltages between the positive and the negative pole. They must not be higher than ±2 V.
  6. Measure the voltage between the positive pole and the PE for each module. The voltage must be 0 V.
  7. If a value outside of the specified measured values is measured in the voltage measurements, contact SEW-EURODRIVE Service.
