Touchprobe function – sensor-based positioning

When the additional function is activated, the system can be positioned to a target relative to the actual position in the event of a trigger event in the following operating modes:

• Positioning absolute – Touchprobe remaining distance in direction of travel (420)
• Positioning absolute – Touchprobe remaining distance signed (421)
• Positioning endless – Touchprobe remaining distance in direction of travel (422)
• Positioning endless – Touchprobe remaining distance signed (423)

For fieldbus operation, the process data length is extended by 4 process data words.
