Meaning of the security levels
The IEC 62443-4-2 standard defines Security Level 1 as follows:
Security Level | Description |

SL 1 | Ensure that the component operates reliably under normal production conditions and prevents Denial-of-Service (DoS) situations caused by occasional or accidental actions of an entity. |
