Putting the physics simulation into operation in MOVIKIT® Robotics

  1. Open the configuration for MOVIKIT® Robotics.
  2. Open the "Module configuration" > "Basic settings" configuration menu.
  3. In the "Additional functions" area, activate the "Precontrol" and / or "Collision response" option.
    • The "Physics simulation" configuration menu with the submenus available for the selected kinematic model (general settings, inertia properties, workpiece) is displayed.
  4. If you use collision detection, set the "Response to detected collision" parameter to "Warning".
  5. Open the "Physics simulation" configuration menu and configure the physics simulation of the robot using the corresponding setting fields. INFORMATION: For a realistic simulation of the force-torque loads, all the parameters must be realistically parameterized.
