Brake overview

The design procedures describe a drive system with the brakes and safety brakes listed below used in hoisting and travel applications:

  • BK.. brake for the CMP40 – 63, CM3C63 – 100, ECM3C63 – 100, CM3P63 – 100, and CMSB.50 – 63 motor series
  • BKB.. brake for the CM3G63 – 100 motor series
  • BP.. brake for the CMP71 – 100 and CMSB71 motor series
  • BR.. brake for the CFM71 – 112 motor series
  • BY../BY.D brake for the CMP112 and CMPZ71 – 100 motor series
  • BY.C brake for the DRC1 – 4 motor series
