MOVIKIT^® Gearing as axis group member

If MOVIKIT^® Gearing is to be used as an axis group member below the software module, the fieldbus interface must be activated in MOVIKIT^® Gearing (parameter 50000.150 = Yes).

Activating the fieldbus interface in MOVIKIT^® Gearing has the advantage that compared to the 6 PD per axis group member, the full 8 PD of MOVIKIT^® Gearing are available as actual values. Note that the start address of MOVIKIT^® Gearing is selected in such a way that it does not overlap with the start address of the software module.

Furthermore, by activating the fieldbus interface in MOVIKIT^® Gearing, it is possible – when MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController is used in a cascade – to read and control the actual values of the MOVIKIT^®Gearing single axis via the fieldbus interface instead of the actual values of the lower-level MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController.

If the single axis is to be moved separately temporarily, this is also possible using MOVIKIT^® Gearing. For this purpose, the additional process data word "Access control" of MOVIKIT^® Gearing must be activated in the "Basic settings" configuration menu (only possible with permission level "Advanced" in MOVISUITE^®). If the corresponding bit is then set on this additional process data word, the single axis is removed from group mode.
