Trace function

The trace function of the IEC Editor is used to record and display the states of variables over time in the IEC Editor. Based on this, the behavior can be analyzed.

If many variables are recorded, the trace function can significantly impact the task runtime. To avoid an overflow of the HighPrio task, it should be checked when the trace function is started. If a task overflow occurs, the task runtime must be increased. The task runtime can be viewed in the task configuration (double-click the "Task Configuration" element in the Devices tree) in the "Average Cycle Time" column.
