Process sequence and signal states

For information on the drive's behavior at standstill, refer to the specifications for the "Stop functions" in the "Functions" > "Monitoring functions" > "Control functions" configuration menu of the inverter.

No adjustment process is performed in the module positive synchronous operation control (1002) and module negative synchronous operation control (1003) operating modes if the master actual position is within the configured adjust window. The "Adjustment process completed" (PI 9:3) signal is immediately set. Note that a value > 0 must be configured for the adjust window in order for an unintended compensation movement to be executed according to the selected operating mode.

Signal states

[1]

General enable

  • PO 1:0 = "1"
  • Enable/emergency stop

PO 1:0

  • "1": Release
  • "0": Deceleration with emergency stop ramp
  • PO 1:1 = "1"
  • Enable/application stop

PO 1:1

  • "1": Release
  • "0": Deceleration according to application limit
  • PO 1:13 = "0"
  • Output stage inhibit (signal with highest priority)

PO 1:13

  • "0": Output stage enabled
  • "1": Output stage inhibited (the drive coasts to a stop or the brake is applied).

Selection of operating mode

PO 6

  • 1001 (linear)
  • 1002 (modulo – positive)
  • 1003 (modulo – negative)
  • 1004 (modulo – shortest distance)

[1] to [2]

Start/stop of the adjustment process

PO 1:7

  • "1": Adjusting the slave axis to the master axis is started. The drive accelerates to the setpoint speed specified via PO 2 using the value specified via PO 3.
  • "0": The motor is held at speed "0" subject to position control.

Adjustment process is active

PI 9:2

  • "1": Adjustment process is active

[2]

Adjustment process is finished

PI 9:3

  • "1": Adjustment process is completed

In adjust window (In AdjustWindow)

  • 0: The actual master position is outside the configured adjust window.
  • 1: The actual master position is within the configured adjust window.

Note that the In AdjustWindow can only be calculated correctly for modulo axes if the same modulo range has been configured for them.
