Assigning authorization

A prerequisite for SMID licensing is that after installing the visualization and accessing the Visualization.exe file for the application, running as administrator is activated. Proceed as follows to activate administrator privileges:

  1. Right-click to open the visualization context menu in the information area of the task bar (tray icons).
  2. Activate entry "Run as admin (needed for SMID licensing)" in the context menu.
  3. Click the "Exit" entry in the context menu.
  4. Restart the application.
    • A user account control (UAC) message is displayed the next time the visualization is started. After the message has been confirmed, the process is carried out with administrator privileges, and the "Process currently running elevated?" entry is activated in the information area of the context menu of the visualization.
