Checking activated software licenses on a device

  • You know the hardware ID (SMID, HWID or serial number) of the device whose license status you wish to check.
  1. Call up the SEW‑EURODRIVE website in a browser.
  2. Navigate to "Online Support" > "Startup & maintenance" > "Request & activate software licenses".
  3. Open the "Request" tab.
  4. Enter the SMID or the serial number of the device in the "Hardware-ID" edit box.
  5. Click the [Request] button.
  • You are shown a list containing the software licenses that are assigned to this hardware.
