Die Anzahl der Module ist auf maximal 16 Modulbus-Teilnehmer begrenzt. Module mit Modulbusanbindung sind die Versorgungsmodule MDP9.A.., die DC/DC-Wandlermodule MDE90A.., das Koppelmodul MDL91A.. und die Achsmodule MDA90A.. und MDD9.A... Ein Doppelachsmodul MDD9.A.. zählt als ein einzelner Modulbus-Teilnehmer.
