Restore (import)

To import the program configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the [Settings] menu and select the [Data backup] tab.
  2. In the "Backup and restore" area, click [Restore settings].
    • The file browser for selecting the import file appears.
  3. Navigate to the desired import file in the file browser and click [Open].
    • The "Program configuration" dialog window with import options opens. INFORMATION: The available cleanup options only delete the links from data containers to device groups, devices, and endpoints. However, the device groups, devices, and endpoints themselves are still present.
  4. If required, make a selection in the "Options for cleaning up application configuration" dialog window and click [Import].
  • The program configuration is imported and applied.

 

If a network adapter was used in the imported program configuration that does not exist on your computer or has a different name, the network adapter must be adapted in the software to communicate with the configured devices. To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the "Devices" tab.
  2. Click the [Device scan] button.
  3. Use the "Network adapter for communication" drop-down list to specify the network adapter to be used.
