Backup (export)

To export the program configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the [Settings] menu and select the [Data backup] tab.
  2. In the "Backup and restore" area, click [Save settings].
    • The "Program configuration" dialog window with export options opens. INFORMATION: The available cleanup options only delete the links from data containers to device groups, devices, and endpoints. However, the device groups, devices, and endpoints themselves are still present.
  3. Optionally, select elements in the "Program configuration" dialog window and click [Export].
    • The file browser for specifying the storage location appears.
  4. Navigate to the desired storage location in the file browser and click [Save].
  • The program configuration is exported to the desired storage location as a JSON file.
