KNZ63. right-angle gear unit
The right-angle gearmotor of type KNZ63. The DCA63.. has a compact design thanks to its combination of right-angle and planetary stages in one housing. The gearmotor has high torques, as the planetary output stage consists of 5 straight-geared planet gears made of hardened sintered steel. In the case of an upstream helical planetary stage, the right-angle stage is designed to provide optimum conditions for the engaging gears. This improves the running smoothness. Due to its high level of efficiency, the right-angle gearmotor does not feature a self-locking mechanism.
