Indicating fault statuses

The start of a fault code is indicated by a long pulse (START). The number of brief flash pulses indicates the most recent fault since the encoder was switched on. The long START signal does not count as part of this number. The figure shows the structure of the flash code. The Normal operation table provides an overview of possible fault statuses and the defined LED signals for these statuses.
