Line contactor

When using the MDR60A.. regenerative power supply as a brake module, the line contactor configuration of the connected inverter applies. For the procedure, refer to the corresponding product manuals of the inverters.

Observe the chapter Evaluation of the ready signal.

If the MDR60A.. regenerative power supply is used as a power supply module, a line contactor is always required if a braking resistor is connected. Without a braking resistor, a line contactor can be dispensed with if the chapter Evaluation of the ready signal is taken into account.

Only use line contactors of utilization category AC-3 in accordance with EN 60947-4-1.

NOTICE

Incorrect use of the line contactor causes damage to the device.
Do not use the line contactor for jogging and observe a minimum switch-off time of 10 seconds.

NOTICE

Destruction of the regenerative power supply and/or the inverter.
Overvoltages can damage or destroy the regenerative power supply, the connected inverter, and other loads. No other consumers except the regenerative power supply may be connected after the upstream line contactor.
