Drives make a humming noise or rattle

Problem

The drives make a humming or rattling noise when moving.

Remedy

• Check whether the decimal places suggested in the software module of the lower-level axis have been accepted.
• Check the log for messages, in particular for fault 16#6481 (cycle time of the high-priority task is exceeded). If the cycle time is exceeded, increase the cycle time. See Setting the cycle time.
