Licensing

The use of the Velocity, Positioning and Homing operating modes is license-free. In contrast, the license SMC0013-000 (part number 23375310) is required for using the FOC operating modes FOC Torque, FOC Velocity and FOC Positioning with the help of MOVIKIT^® Custom OSS21C. The license must be stored in the license manager of each controller used in MOVISUITE^®.

When one of the FOC operating modes is started, the corresponding license check is performed. If the license check is successful, the desired operating mode is started. If the license check fails, the desired operating mode is denied. In addition, the missing license is displayed as an icon in MOVISUITE^®. If you click the icon, you will see the error message.

The license can be activated on the controller via MOVISUITE^®. To evaluate the functions of FOC mode, you can activate a trial license for 7 days via MOVISUITE^®. After activation of the license, a cold start or restart of the MOVI-C^® CONTROLLER is necessary so that the licenses activated on the controller are read again.
