Structure of the selection tables

The following two figures show the structure of the selection tables for gearmotors.

There are two types of selection tables:

  1. For standard output speeds, sorted by the rated power Pm of the driving motor in kW.
  2. For extremely low output speeds (always compound gearmotors), sorted by the maximum permitted output torque M a_max in Nm.

For drives for extremely low output speeds (compound gearmotors), the motor power must be limited according to the maximum permitted output torque of the gear unit.

Gear unit ratio

  • A value marked with * indicates a finite gear unit ratio.

[5]

Permitted overhung load on output side at Ma

  • Overhung load for foot-mounted gear units with solid shaft; overhung loads for other design types on request
