Structure of the selection tables
The following two figures show the structure of the selection tables for gearmotors.
There are two types of selection tables:
- For standard output speeds, sorted by the rated power Pm of the driving motor in kW.
- For extremely low output speeds (always compound gearmotors), sorted by the maximum permitted output torque M a_max in Nm.
For drives for extremely low output speeds (compound gearmotors), the motor power must be limited according to the maximum permitted output torque of the gear unit.
Table for normal output speeds:
[1] | Rated power of driving motor |
[2] | Output speed |
[3] | Output torque |
[4] | Gear unit ratio
|
[5] | Permitted overhung load on output side at Ma
|
[6] | Service factor |
[7] | Gear unit type (example figure) |
[8] | Motor type (example figure) |
[9] | Mass |
Table for extremely low output speeds (compound gearmotors):
[1] | Maximum permitted output torque |
[2] | Output speed |
[3] | Gear unit ratio
|
[4] | Permitted overhung load on output side at Ma
|
[5] | Gear unit type (example figure) |
[6] | Motor type (example figure) |
[7] | Mass |
