GearFluid by SEW-EURODRIVE is the first CO₂-reduced gear unit lubricant on the market made from sustainable biomass. Eliminating the use of fossil raw materials results in a saving of 84% CO₂ compared to a conventional petroleum-based polyglycol lubricant.

Another important aspect is the compatibility with the sealing materials, surfaces and coatings in the product. The precision planetary gear units are lubricated for life at the factory. Depending on the range of application, the lubricant can be flexibly selected. Food-grade lubricants are also available for the use in food industries.
