Motor mounting sizes and terminal box position with fixed safety cover

The size of the attached motor may be limited by the use of a high fixed safety cover for parallel-shaft helical gear units.

To simplify assembly and maintenance, SEW‑EURODRIVE recommends a terminal box position ≠ 90° for parallel-shaft helical gear units with high safety cover. If necessary, check the configuration in the product configurator on the SEW‑EURODRIVE website.
