MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor
The MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor configuration tool facilitates the PROFIsafe configuration of the inverters of the MOVI‑C® modular automation system.
The MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor can be started from the TIA Portal engineering tool from Siemens and in this way enables the configuration of PROFIsafe devices according to the specifications of the TIA project planning.
The following PROFIsafe parameters can be set using the MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor without the MOVISUITE® engineering software:
- Destination address (F_Dest_Add parameter)
- Source address (F_Source_Add parameter)
- PROFIsafe communication profile
- PROFIsafe address type
The destination address, the source address, and the PROFINET communication profile are automatically taken over to the MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor from the configuration of the device in the TIA Portal, and can be modified. The PROFIsafe address type can only be set in the MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor.
To ensure that communication is established to the correct device, the MOVISAFE® F-Protocol Editor activates the LED flashing function of the safety option that allows the user to visually identify the target device in the PROFINET network.
