Simulation
The fieldbus interface can be tested with simulated axes before the actual startup. When this takes place, it is possible to combine real axes and simulated axes. A prerequisite for the simulation is the use of a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
The following functions can be simulated:
- All functions of the MOVIKIT® StackerCrane MultiMotion
- All functions of the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController Torque & Skewing
- 2 drives in one direction
- Combined encoder evaluation
The following functions cannot be simulated:
- Safety functions
- Top drive
- MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController add-on Cascading
The startup with simulated axes includes the following steps:
- Scan in accordance with the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER in startup mode.
- Switch to planning mode and prepare the project.
- Add an inverter.
- Add a drive train including external encoders.
- Create the project.
- Add software modules.
- Activate the simulation in the "Basic settings" configuration menu in MOVIKIT® StackerCrane MultiMotion.
- Switch to startup mode.
- Activate the fieldbus interface in the configuration of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
- Generate an IEC Project.
- Import the MOVIKIT® fieldbus monitor.
- Login and download.
- Start the IEC program.
