Adjustable current limit

For some applications, it is necessary to be able to set a specific maximum torque. Since the current and torque behave roughly proportionally to each other, this can be achieved via the current limit. The "Current Limitation" parameter allows you to set an application-specific current limit that is below the maximum current.

  • Parameter values: 200 – 3500 – 7000 mA

To activate and parameterize the function, open the "Custom Function" submenu.

  1. Activate the function by checking "Current limitation".
  2. Set the current limits for the right drive in the "RMDR current limit" parameter.
  3. Set the current limits for the left drive in the "LMDR current limit" parameter.

INFORMATION

The set value must be below the maximum current that can be set for the motor.

If the set current limit is reached during operation, the Maximum torque bit is set.
