Assembling protective grommets

INFORMATION

Does not apply to ECC-DFC-..-02 fieldbus controller.
  • To assemble protective grommets, suitable assembly tools are required, such as SES-KP2 three-pronged pliers (not included in the scope of delivery).
  1. Pull the protective grommet over the mandrel of the assembly tool.
  2. To expand the protective grommet, push the handles of the assembly tool.
  3. Insert the cable (including connector) into the expanded protective grommet.
  4. To place the protective grommet on the cable jacket, hold the protective grommet in place with your hand and remove the assembly tool by pulling it out.
