Standard containers
The DriveRadar® SmartDataCollector provides the option to install libraries. The library "DriveRadar® SmartDataCollector General Library" provides preconfigured containers and container templates (hereinafter referred to as "standard containers") for certain use cases. You configure the corresponding parameters or recording channels (with sample scope configuration and sample scope trigger), the appropriate update interval, as well as the relevant equipment groups and end points in these standard containers. After installing the library, you can use the standard containers directly in the software without any additional configuration effort. Further adjustment of the containers in the software is possible as needed.
The standard containers are divided into the following categories:
DeviceIdentity - "Who are you?"
Standard containers for collecting basic identity and property data from devices for asset management systems and digital twins. Through the acquisition of parameter data such as serial numbers or firmware and hardware version, all SEW-EURODRIVE devices in a machine can be identified. Deviations from the version or device type are identified quickly and reliably through the comparability of the acquired data. The standard containers can thereby be used for device and update management, for example. They replace and digitalize manual system administration and provide a better system overview. Because the data involves relatively constant parameters, the update interval is once daily.
DeviceVitality - "How are you?"
Standard containers for collecting parameter data for the long-term monitoring and status analysis of devices. The standard containers read statistical values, lifetime and activity data, messages from the fault memory, and diagnostic data. Due to the comparability of the acquired data, peaks and trends can be derived from the vitality data of the devices and thereby high runners and low performers can be identified. In addition, data such as switching frequencies and temperatures is included, which can be used for relative comparisons. To ensure reliable monitoring, the update interval is one hour.
DefaultScope - "Show me details"
Standard containers for performing scope recordings for detailed diagnostics of nearly all types of applications. The standard containers constitute a quick and easy solution for generating scope recordings of all devices in the network. The predefined recording channels provide a comprehensive overview of effects occurring in the application during the recording. This makes it possible, for example, to diagnose mechanical problems in the application, the quality of the inverter startup process, torque and current peaks in the movement, and the quality of the direct current. The standard containers can be used, for example, to perform diagnostics of a reference procedure of the machine under defined trigger conditions or to create a measurement for the basic visualization of dynamic data.
