Behavior at standstill

INFORMATION

With encoderless axes, the stop by setpoint function must be activated and the stop setpoint and the start offset must be set. The brake is then released only when the "Speed control" operating mode is selected and the specified setpoint speed is greater than the stop setpoint + start offset.

The following settings are available for the behavior at standstill:

  • Drive energized (brake open)
  • Drive not energized (brake applied)

The stop function acts when the enable is canceled (stop with FCB 13/14) if no operating mode is selected (FCB 02), and with the stop by setpoint function. In the case of drives without an encoder, the setting is ignored and the brake function is always active
