Restore (import)

To import the program configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the [Settings] menu and select the [Data backup] tab.
  2. In the "Backup and restore" area, click [Restore settings].
    • The file browser for selecting the import file appears.
  3. Navigate to the desired import file in the file browser and click [Open].
    • The "Program configuration" dialog window with options for importing is displayed. INFORMATION: The available cleaning options only delete the links from containers to device groups, devices, and endpoints. The device groups, devices, and endpoints themselves are still present.
  4. If required, make a selection in the "Options for cleaning up application configuration" dialog window and click [Import].
  • The program configuration is imported and applied.

 

If a network adapter was used in the imported program configuration that does not exist on your computer or has a different name, the network adapter must be adapted in the software to communicate with the configured devices. To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the "Devices" tab.
  2. Click the [Device scan] button.
  3. Use the "Network adapter for communication" drop-down list to specify the network adapter to be used.
