Backup (export)

To export the program configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the [Settings] menu and select the [Data backup] tab.
  2. In the "Backup and restore" area, click [Save settings].
    • The "Program configuration" dialog box with export options is displayed.
      INFORMATION: The available cleaning options only delete the links from containers to device groups, devices and endpoints. Device groups, devices and endpoints themselves are still present.
  3. If required, make a selection in the "Program configuration" dialog box and click [Export].
    • The file browser for specifying the storage location appears.
  4. Navigate to the desired storage location in the file browser and click [Save].
  • The program configuration is exported to the desired storage location as a JSON file.
