"MS" LED

The following table describes the display functions of the "MS" LED:

No power supply or DC 24 V supply.

  • Check the voltage supply.

Green

Flashing

The device has not been configured yet.

  • Configure the device.
  • Check the DHCP server connection (only if DHCP is activated and the state is persistent).

Green

Illuminated

Device OK.

Red

Flashing

A recoverable fault has occurred on the device.

  • Check whether another device with the same IP address is available in the network.
  • Change the IP address of the device.
  • Check the DHCP settings for IP address assignment of the DHCP server (only when using a DHCP server).

Red

Illuminated

An unrecoverable fault has occurred on the device.

  • Switch on the device again.
  • Reset the device to the factory settings.
  • If this fault occurs repeatedly, replace the device or contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.

Red/green

Flashing

The device performs an LED test.

This state may only be active for a short time during startup.

–

The device is waiting for a target unit network ID (TUNID).

Assign a target unit network ID (TUNID) to the device.

Parameterization of the device is required.

Check the parameterization of the CSB51A/CSL51A safety option.
